As most of you may know, I'm back in the good 'ole Deutschland. I'm hanging out in the BHV (that's Bremerhaven) for a few weeks and then I start my awesome job on September 2nd. In that time, I'll have to move south east about 6 hours to a little place by the name of Kleinheubach to start my new chapter of Baking My Way Through Germany.
In the first chapter of this whole big thing called life, I had some issues getting a visa for the apprenticeship. This time around?! Not an issue. As it turns out, I'll be welcomed into Germany with a special visa where I can jump from job to job without registering with the immigration office! Awesome. This is only allowed because I completed a 3 year apprenticeship and probably because I speak German. People become much nicer to you when your a foreigner who has a job and speaks the language.
aaaaand to make things awesome-er... they gave me a drivers licence!
I know, it's very depressing looking, but Germany is allowing me to drive! I'm not sure if this is a good thing, or bad thing. I can't drive a stick yet (I know that's bad, but we aren't forced to learn in America) but I'm pretty sure it'll be a good thing to learn!
