A Woman Is Like A Tea Bag...

Now that I'm back from vacation, it's straight back to business. The mid-term exam in not too far away now, and I've got a lot to figure out.

On top of work and studying, I really have to get details of my cake planned. I don't just mean coming up with ideas, but putting them to the test as well. Everything sounds great in my mind, but sometimes, as a lot of you may know, when trying them out, it turns out to be a disaster. Let's face it, I'm not trying to have one of those cake disasters you see on Food Network... as entertaining as they are...

My writing in chocolate is getting a lot better, but still not where I want to be! I think I may have written "Herzlichen Gluckwunsch!" about 100,000 times. It'll take 100,000 more until I feel comfortable.

This week I will be putting to test my ideas of my cake, and letting you all know about it! Until then, it's study, study, study... because not only do I need and want to learn everything there is about baking/pastry, but I need to know it in English and German... In fact, now that I think about it, I'm not sure I've ever been challenged this much...

Here we go!

Eleanor Roosevelt sure said it right, "A woman is like a tea bag- you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water."

  1. She was right you can do this hang in there

  2. You've done such amazing work already that I'm sure you will do just fine in your exams...

  3. You have not mentioned having to decorate another cake. What are the requirements for this one?

  4. thank you thank you thank you!!! Check out my new post for the next cake!
